Victims: Andis Peterson and Franklin Wood

DATE: January 11, 2010

TIME: 11:09 PM

LOCATION: 1407 N. Northgate Way

CASE # 10-12334

Roommates Franklin Wood and Andis Peterson were both murdered in January 2010 during a home invasion robbery.

Franklin Wood loved to make his friends and family laugh, with his great sense of humor and clever rhymes. He was an accomplished pencil artist, drawing detailed life like portraits. He loved hanging out with his friends and family, listening to music and playing video games.

Andis Petersons family says Andis was his father’s best friend, and describe him as a kind, loving young man who enjoyed going paintballing with friends, and playing with his dog, Buster.

Franklin and Andis were both killed at a house they shared in the Northgate area. At about 11 pm on January 11, 2010, three masked gunmen forced their way into Franklin and Andis’s home, and fatally shot the pair.

Victim: Arturo Dela Rosa Jr

DATE: August 21, 2010

TIME: 3:16 AM

LOCATION: 860 Terry Ave N.

CASE # 10-291905

Arturo Dela Rosa Jr. was shot to death after attending a Quinceanera party at the Center for Wooden Boats hall in South Lake Union on August 21, 2010.

Around midnight, Arturo was involved in a fight at the party, and police received reports of gunfire near event hall.

Three hours later, Dela Rosa was found in a fenced off construction site down the street, with a fatal gunshot wound to his head.

Victim: Johnathan Chhonn

DATE: September 17, 2010

TIME: 2:40 AM

LOCATION: 2555 29th Ave S.

CASE # 10-325630

Johnny Chhonn loved spending time with his family and was a competitive video gamer, who spent hours playing games with his friends, brother, and nephews.

Around 2:45 am on September 17, 2010, Johnny and his girlfriend awoke to the sound of someone pounding on their bedroom window. When Johnny sat up in bed, several suspects opened fire into Johnny’s room, fatally wounding him. Johnny’s killers then fled.

Victim: Jeremy Peck

DATE: Last seen December 24, 2010

Time: 2:00 AM

CASE #  2011-741

The last time anyone saw Jeremy Peck alive, it was 2 am on December 24th, 2010, and he was with a group of people outside the Admiral Pub in West Seattle.

On New Year’s Day 2011, Peck’s uncle reported him missing.

A little more than two weeks later, on January 19, Peck’s body was found washed up on the shores of Bainbridge Island.

The Seattle Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit initially began investigating Peck’s disappearance, but as detectives learned more about Peck’s death, they turned the case over to the Homicide Unit.

Victim: Kaari Higgins

DATE: January 7, 2010

LOCATION: 4006 SW Concord St.

CASE # 11-13343

Kaari Higgins was a loving mother to her two children, 10-year-old Ryan, and 13-year-old  Lindsey.

Kaari was found injured and unconscious inside her home on 40th Avenue SW and SW Concord Street on December 31, 2011. Medics rushed Kaari to Harborview, where she later died from her injuries.  The King County Medical Examiner determined Kaari’s injuries were not caused by an accident or a fall, and this case is being investigated as a homicide.

Victim: Zachary Lewis

DATE: March 7, 2011

LOCATION: 500 block 11th Ave E.

CASE # 11-75005

Zachary Lewis was beaten to death in a vacant lot at 11th Avenue and E. Republican Street on Capitol Hill on March 6, 2011.

Victim: Donald Meyer

DATE: July 8, 2011

TIME: 10:48 AM

LOCATION: 7201 E. Marginal Way S.

CASE # 11-205363

Don Meyer was a caring father and an amazing guitar player. He lived quietly, mostly keeping to himself at his apartment, where he lived with his cat.

Don’s family last saw him on June 16, 2011. Three weeks later, police found some of Don’s remains in a recycling center. Detectives believe Don’s killer gruesomely dismembered him, dumping his remains at two locations: a construction site in Ballard, one block from Don’s home, and in a greenbelt in Eastlake.

Victim: Demiko Chatman

DATE: July 26, 2011

TIME: 4:30 AM

LOCATION: 114 19th Ave

CASE # 11-242012

Demiko Chatman was gunned down on July 26, 2011 as he stepped out of his car near 19th Avenue and E. Fir Street around 4:30 am. A passenger in Demiko’s car ran from the scene and flagged down a police officer, but by then Demiko’s killer had already fled.

Victim: Danny Vega

DATE: November 15, 2011

TIME: 7:30 PM

LOCATION: MLKing and Othello St.

CASE # 11-371307

Danny Vega was a well-known fixture in south Seattle and the Filipino community. Danny enjoyed walks around his south Seattle neighborhood, and volunteering at the Filipino Community Center.

Danny also owned a salon in south Seattle, and excelled as a make-up artist and hair stylist, and especially loved working with teenagers during prom season, to help get them ready for their big night.

On November 15, Danny was attacked, beaten unconscious, and robbed by three men near Martin Luther King Jr. Way and S. Othello Street. Danny made it home after the attack, and his roommate called 911. Medics rushed Danny to Harborview, where he died 12 days later from his injuries.

Victim: Darek Darewski

DATE: January 17, 2012

TIME: 11:20 PM

LOCATION: 1700 Block of Harvard Ave.

CASE # 12-16907

Darek Darewski left his native Poland 20 years ago and came to the US, where he later took up work as a fisherman in Alaska.

Darek was shot to death several blocks from his Capitol Hill apartment, near Harvard Avenue and E. Olive Street, around 11:20 pm on January 17, 2012. The gunman fled the scene.

Victim: Gregory Anderson

DATE: February 5th, 2012

TIME: 1:46 AM

LOCATION: 2900 block of 1st Avenue S.

CASE # 12-035186

Petty Officer Gregory Anderson was a devoted father, husband, and star player on the USS Nimitz basketball team.

Gregory was with several other sailors at Club Republiq in SoDo on February 5, 2012 when several of his friends got into a fight. Gregory was struck by gunfire during the incident, and later died at Harborview from his injuries.

Victim: Desmond Jackson

DATE: February 12, 2012

TIME: 3:28 AM

LOCATION: 1954 1st Avenue S

CASE # 12-43006

Desmond Jackson was a terrific cook, loved vintage clothing, and was known for his big heart and matching smile.

Desmond was shot and killed on February 12th, 2012 in SoDo. Desmond and several friends drove to a nightclub and were standing next to their cars at S. Walker Street and Occidental Avenue S. when they got into a dispute with another group around 3:30 am. Someone in the second group pulled out a gun and opened fire, striking Desmond and another man.

Desmond later died at the hospital from his injuries.

Victim: Gregette Guy

DATE: March 12, 2012

LOCATION: 3800 Beach Drive SW

CASE # 12-75374

Gregette Guy was a wife, mother, and life-long supporter of the Girl Scouts, as well as an avid hiker and camper, who loved the outdoors.

Gregette’s body was found floating in the water off Beach Drive SW. in West Seattle on March 12, 2012. She had severe wounds to her neck.

Victim: Nicole Westbrook

DATE: April 22, 2012

LOCATION: 2nd Avenue and Yesler Way

CASE # 12-122440

Nicole Westbrook came to Seattle from her home in New Mexico with dreams of attending culinary school and becoming a chef.

Around 2 am on April 22, 2012 Nicole was walking through Pioneer Square with her boyfriend when a car rolled past, and someone inside opened fire. Nicole was struck by gunfire and died three days later in the hospital, surrounded by her family.

Nicole’s family also recently lost Nicole’s father and uncle, who were killed while serving their country in the military in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Victim: Son Le

DATE: May 27, 2012

TIME: 1:17 AM

LOCATION: 12324 11th Avenue NE

CASE # 12-163393

Son Le was shot and killed in his home on NE 123rd Street and 11th Avenue NE after he confronted a man who had climbed through his kitchen window just after 1 am on May 27, 2012.

The suspect shot Son in the chest, and ran off down 11th Avenue NE. Son was rushed into surgery at Harborview, but later died from his injuries.

Victim: Sherry Soth

DATE: July 1, 2012

TIME: 1:56 AM

LOCATION: 9700 block Renton Ave South

CASE #12-207540

Sherry’s family and friends knew her as a “free spirit seedling traveling wherever the wind would take her. Sherry was always ready for fun and adventure, and was caring and compassionate to others in need.

Sherry was attending a house party early July 1st, 2012 at a home in south Seattle when several gunmen opened fire in the crowd. Sherry was struck by gunfire, and rushed to Harborview where she later died. Five other people were also wounded in the shooting.

Victim: Jamie Turner

Date: October 4, 2012

Time: 3:51 AM

Location: 8300 block 54th Ave S

Case # 12-338559

Jamie was sitting in his car along 54th Avenue S. in the early morning hours of October 4th, when an unidentified gunman approached the car and shot Jamie several times.

Moments later, witnesses, who heard the gunshots, saw a car fleeing the scene at high speed.

Jamie died at the scene from his injuries.

Jessica Seybold Jessica Seybold went missing in December 2017. She was last known to be at 12327 276TH ST. in Arlington/Trafton area. The house she was at at the time belonged to Donnie Shaffer's mother, Yvonne Ellis.(Yvonne Bratley, Yvonne Shaffer) He was living there, along with Jason Larcom and Jasons girlfriend Rhianna Rammage (Rhianna Elizabeth Boe).Jason had been using Jessica's car and at one point several texts from Jessica to various family members suggested she was in danger, she gave the address and said she was at some creeps house "Im working on getting away safe.." . On October 7, 2009, Brock Holmes was picked up at his residence 28109 Old Owen Rd, Monroe by Gary Wheelock, Clint Wheelock, Cameron Johnson, and possibly Clint’s off and on girlfriend Delmise. They left Brock’s home around 4:30-5:00PM. The CrimeStopper Posters have it WRONG! Brock was wearing a long sleeve dark blue shirt with white stripes down the sleeves, cargo style blue jeans and brown shoes. He had his ipod, cell phone, and $150.00 on him. The group went to Bubbas road house and eventually was kicked out due to Brock putting Clint in a head lock, Cameron said it was a playful headlock, but the bartenders didn’t believe that. They went over to the Dutch Cup restaurant and proceeded to play pool in the bar. A woman stated that she saw Brock attempting to calm the group down so they didn’t get kicked out again.
