The statement prompted a modified lockdown Monday at Presidents Elementary School and a nearby Arlington School District office. The teacher was arrested in Bellingham and jailed for investigation of felony harassment. The 52-year-old teacher appeared before a judge Tuesday and was ordered held on $10,000 bail. MAN'S BODY FOUND AT ARLINGTON November 19, 2009 Share (ARLINGTON, WA) -- Police say the body of a white male, possibly in his 20’s, was found in a field in Arlington Wednesday morning. Police were called to the scene near the 23400 block of 35th Avenue NE by a resident in the area. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner will do an autopsy to determine cause of death and release the man’s identity when it is available. There were two young white males reported as missing recently in Snohomish County. The Snohomish County Sheriff’s office is seeking the whereabouts of a Snohomish man who was reported missing in October. On October 20, 2009, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a missing man named Christian Mattson. MENU 36 Human remains found under slab in Arlington; woman arrested by KOMO Staff VIEW PHOTO GALLERY 2 photos AA ARLINGTON, Wash. - Investigators found dismembered human remains buried under a concrete slab on private property in Arlington on Thursday, and a woman has been arrested in connection with the grisly discovery. Shari Ireton of the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office said detectives believe the remains belong to a man who disappeared without a trace in 2004 under suspicious circumstances. The woman who was arrested is his ex-wife. The remains were found Thursday after a search warrant was served on the property in the 8100 block of Wade Road. They were verified as human by an anthropologist with the King County Medical Examiner's Office, Ireton said. Detectives believe the remains are that of a former Boeing employee who friends, family and co-workers have not heard from since 2004.
