Shawn Lundy was a star witness in a recently completed racketeering trial of four current and former members of the Hells Angels in Washington state. Prosecutors in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Seattle say Lundy’s testimony helped secure a murder conviction against one of the defendants, Rodney Rollness . Woman's body found in remote Clallam County wilderness Investigators believe the woman found in the Olympic National Forest was the victim of a homicide. CRIME Author: Eric Wilkinson Published: 5:39 PM PST February 17, 2020 Updated: 5:39 PM PST February 17, 2020 BLYN, Wash. — A woman's body was found deep in the Buckhorn Wilderness of the Olympic National Forest in Clallam County on Friday. Police aren't saying much about the discovery except that the body is that of a woman and she appears to be the victim of a homicide.  Investigators won't say how she was killed, whether she was clothed or how old she appears to be. They did tell KING 5 the woman doesn't appear to have been dead for very long. Her body was found off Forest Service Road 28 near the town of Blyn, about 25 miles southeast of Port Angeles. The area is so dense that investigators had to tie brightly colored ribbons to the trees so they could find their way through the remote roads to the crime scene. ...

-- BREAKING NEWS Human remains found by work crew in Snohomish May 10, 2018 (SNOHOMISH, WA.) – The Snohomish County Sheriff’s office says a crew cleaning up roadside litter Wednesday afternoon found what appeared to be human remains near the intersection of Downes Road and Fales Road near State Route 522. “Detectives with the Major Crimes and Collision Investigation Units responded around 3 p.m. and recovered the unidentified remains,” said sheriff’s office Communications Director Shari Ireton. “Gender and age of the person were undetermined. Also recovered was a suitcase and a blanket. Identification of the deceased will be determined by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner, as well as cause and manner of death. There was no mention by the sheriff’s office if any indications of foul play were present at the recovery scene.
