Detectives say genetic evidence ties the man arrested for an armed robbery at a Lake Steven espresso stand to an unsolved hold-up at a Snohomish market. Prosecutors have charged Clinton Wheelock, 29, with first-degree robbery for both incidents. He was being held on $150,000 bail. The Snohomish robbery happened Oct. 12 at Baker's Mini-Mart. The suspect came in wearing a black hoodie pulled up around his head. He slid the hood off, revealing a ski mask over his face. He pulled a gun on the clerk and ordered her to open the cash register. He grabbed money from the till and a bank bag containing more cash and lottery tickets. A police

SECTION SPONSOR Share story By  Seattle Times staff The Seattle Times Two hikers discovered human remains Wednesday near Kayak Point, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. The remains were found off 140th Street Northwest, between Marine Drive and Kayak Point Road. That section of road will be closed through Thursday afternoon as detectives investigate, the sheriff’s office said in a news release. The gender and age of the remains are pending examination by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office. Log in / Register r/ UnresolvedMysteries Unresolved Disappearance Patti Krieger - Lost to Nature or Murdered by Boyfriend? u/ homehealthgirl 301d, 18h I was attempting to find a missing person's case that I had read about years ago about a woman who drove off with her dog never to be found again (hopefully still forthcoming!) and I discovered this more recent 2010 case of missing Patti Krieger. As usual it's ridiculously long. The Case Patti Krieger  went missing on October 2, 2010 from Skagit County, Washington, specifically  Sauk Mountain . She was with her beloved dog,  Bear , who is described as a 100lb Rottweiler, her boyfriend, Larry Pressley, and five people who are described as friends/family. They were hiking on Sauk Mountain in order to spread the ashes of Pressley's recently deceased parents. According to Pressley and their companions that day after the ceremony Krieger became very emotional. She and her dog separated from their group and started down
