(ARLINGTON, WA) -- Police say the body of a white male, possibly in his 20’s, was found in a field in Arlington Wednesday morning.
Police were called to the scene near the 23400 block of 35th Avenue NE by a resident in the area.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner will do an autopsy to determine cause of death and release the man’s identity when it is available.
There were two young white males reported as missing recently in Snohomish County.
The Snohomish County Sheriff’s office is seeking the whereabouts of a Snohomish man who was reported missing in October.
On October 20, 2009, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a missing man named Christian Mattson.
Mattson was last seen leaving the Shell Gas Station located in the 18000 block of SR9 in Snohomish on October 16th at approximately 8:40AM.
Mattson is described as a white male, 22 years of age, 6’02”, 230 pounds, with blue eyes, brown hair, and glasses.
He may have been driving a tan over copper 1986 Toyota Corolla 4-door, unknown license number.
And the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office was also seeking a missing Sultan man.
Brock Holmes, 23, left his friend’s house around midnight on Oct. 7 and was going to walk home, but he never arrived. While authorities said there was no sign of foul play in the disappearance, Holmes was likely intoxicated when he left and there was concern he might have injured himself on his way home.
Holmes left his friend’s house in the 2400 block of Florence Acres Road. He was headed to his house in the 28100 block of Old Owen Road near Sultan, about three to four miles away.
Holmes is described as a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 178 pounds. He has red hair and blue eyes.
At the time he was reported missing, Christian Mattson was the 2nd Snohomish resident to be listed as missing within a week’s time.
The Snohomish county Sheriff’s office was also seeking the whereabouts of a 59-year old Snohomish area woman reported missing October 14th.
Sheriff’s office spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said Galina Brown was last seen October 11th at her home in the 13500 block of 69th Avenue SE in unincorporated Snohomish.
Her husband told authorities he thought she had gone to work Oct. 12th, but when she didn’t return that evening he began calling family and friends.
Galina is reported to suffer from health problems and needs medications, which she doesn’t appear to have with her. Detectives say it’s possible she went for a walk and became disoriented.
Ms. Brown is described as Caucasian, 5-feet 9 inches tall and 180 pounds with brown hair and gray eyes. Photos show her with blond hair. She has a Russian accent and was last seen wearing jeans, a T-shirt and a gray L.L. Bean parka and tennis shoes.
